Sri Lanka T20 World Cup squad, Sri Lanka has confirmed their 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021.

Sri Lanka's squad for T20 World Cup: Sri Lanka's 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup has been announced. Dasun Shanaka will lead the team in the tournament.
The T20 World Cup will start from October 17 this year, with matches to be played in UAE and Oman. One after the other the teams are announcing the squad. Sri Lanka had also now announced a 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup. Recently he announced the provisional team, which consisted of 19 players. However, Akila Dhananjay did not find a place in this team and now he has gone to the passenger reserve players.

Sri Lanka announced the 15-man squad, whose captain has been named Dasun Shanaka. Senior players like Dhananjay de Silva, Kusal Perera are present in this team while 21-year-old Mahish Thikshana has been surprisingly selected. In the series against South Africa, Mahish won the hearts of the selectors with his bowling.

Chandimal's return

It may be noted that Sri Lanka is currently playing a white ball series against South Africa and a lot will depend on the performance of the players in the T20 International series.
