The Rohit Sharma-led team crushed their arch-rivals by seven wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday, continuing their outstanding performance at the 2023 World Cup and unbeaten history versus Pakistan in the 50-over competition.
The legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar, who played a key role in three of India's eight World Cup victories over Pakistan, crushed his old foe Shoaib Akhtar after the game. Shoaib had written a letter for the Babar-led team before to the high-profile match. Akhtar had advised the squad to approach with a calm and collected mind by showing a photo from one of his previous matches against the Indian side, which included Sachin.
Shoaib Akhtar's remark started a chain reaction on social media after India and Pakistan match in a Cricket World Cup 2023 on Saturday. In the post, Akhtar included a photo showing him ejecting Sachin Tendulkar, eliciting a flurry of responses from cricket players and fans. Akhtar experienced harsh trolling on X (formerly Twitter) after India easily trounced Pakistan in the World Cup match. Tendulkar himself couldn't help but make fun of the former Pakistani bowler. Akhtar has now reacted to Sachin's article as well.
Akhtar's post, which read, "Kal agar asa kuch kerna hai, toh #ThandRakh," elicited responses from several Indian cricket players, including Sachin.

Tendulkar said, "My friend, aap ka advice follow kiya aur sab kuch billlkoool THANDA rakha," following the 7-wicket defeat of Pakistan by India.
The Rawalpindi Express responded to Sachin's article on X as well.
