DCW vs RCBW Final, WPL 2024: Royal Challengers Bangalore Women stormed to their maiden Women's Premier League title in a thrilling final against Delhi Capitals. Richa Ghosh's last-over heroics sealed the deal, sparking jubilant celebrations among the RCB squad and fans. Delhi Capitals, despite a valiant chase, fell short in a dramatic climax to the season.
Royal Challengers Bangalore spinners dominated, restricting Delhi Capitals to a paltry 113 in 18.3 overs. DC looked strong early, reaching 64/0, but Sophie Molineux's three-wicket over sparked a stunning collapse. Shreyanka Patil (four wickets) and Asha Sobhana (two wickets) capitalized as DC's batting crumbled.

Perry, who finished unbeaten on 35 off 37 balls, had this to say after the match: “It is pretty bonkers, to be honest. This is on another level for us and women’s cricket. All the support the teams have had [throughout this tournament] has been phenomenal. It has been so much fun to play.”
“She [Ghosh] is unbelievable. For such a young player, she has all the shots. She had the belief and calmness out there. We crawled to the target, but we put away the loose balls where possible. It should not have been such a close game,” she said.
“She [Shreyanka Patil] turned the match on its head. For the rest of the spinners to back her up the way they did was special. For such a young person, she has the world at her feet.”
