A long-standing customary game that has been embedded in our culture for many years is kabaddi. With the launch of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), Mashal Sports and Disney Star have, on the other hand, turned this traditional sport—which was previously only played by kids in little alleys—into a national occasion.

The league has not only given the sport a more professional feel, but it has also given gifted players a stage on which to demonstrate their abilities and win respect on a national and international scale.

The league has seen tremendous growth since its debut in 2014; the first season had 435 million viewers, just a few million fewer than the IPL. On December 2, 2023, the tournament's 10th iteration is scheduled to start. Details are as follows:

The Pro Kabaddi League 2023 will include 137 matches between 12 teams as they battle it out for the championship this year. In the PKL season 2023–2024, the following groups of clubs will compete:

Pro Kabaddi League 2023 Players List

On October 9 and 10, Mumbai hosted the player auction for PKL 10. Telegu Titans acquired Pawan Sehrawat for a startling Rs. 2.6 crores, making him the most expensive player in PKL history when Tamil Thailavas purchased him for Rs. 2.9 crores.

The PKL's 2023–24 season will be played in a 12-city caravan format, meaning that all twelve clubs' home towns will host the games. The precise locations and stadiums have not yet been chosen.
