The Indian cricket team is going to get great news ahead of the upcoming Ireland tour and Asia Cup 2023, as Team India's star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is all set to return to the field.
Jasprit Bumrah has not played international cricket since September 2022 due to a back injury. However, India's premier pacer is currently bowling with full gusto and intensity at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), and could be back on the field with the upcoming three-match T20I series against Ireland.Jasprit Bumrah resumed bowling in the nets at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru last month and is now reportedly bowling 8-10 overs everyday under the supervision of NCA chief VVS Laxman. During this, Bumrah's progress has given positive signals to the Indian cricket team management and now the selectors can try him on the tour of Ireland before the Asia Cup 2023.
Jasprit Bumrah himself has given an update on his fitness for the first time through an Instagram post. Bumrah has shared a video of bowling and training pictures in the nets, where he looks very close to his old rhythm. Through this post, Bumrah has indicated to return to the field soon, dismissing all the rumors regarding his fitness, which we all are eagerly waiting for.
The Indian bowler has only tagged Team India in the caption of this Instagram post, but this video will surely come as a huge relief to the Indian fans and the team, especially considering the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, Because he has already missed the 2022 T20 World Cup and the WTC 2023 final.
