The Indian Premier League 2025 action continues with a highly anticipated face-off between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Saturday, April 19, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. In the previous match against CSK, he scored 30 off 25 balls, hitting two boundaries and two sixes—yet again showcasing his ability to accelerate when needed.
Lucknow will bank on Marsh to set the tone early, especially against a Rajasthan bowling attack that has lacked bite in recent matches.
Despite Rajasthan’s struggles this season, Yashasvi Jaiswal has been a bright spot at the top. The young left-hander has led their batting charts, often providing explosive starts and anchoring the innings when needed.
In their last outing, Jaiswal played a fluent knock of 51 runs from 37 balls, taking the attack to Delhi’s pace ace Mitchell Starc. His innings featured three boundaries and four towering sixes, played at a healthy strike rate of 137.84.
Yashasvi Jaiswal has scored 233 runs at an average of 33.28 and a strike rate of 138.69 in seven games . He has also scored three half-centuries. He’ll be eager to convert these promising starts into a match-winning performance for RR.
In the IPL 2025, Nicholas Pooran has been a formidable force. With 357 runs from seven games at an incredible average of 59.50 and an astounding strike rate of 208.77, the West Indian dynamo is currently LSG's top scorer. With four fifties to his name already, Pooran has delivered game-changing performances throughout the campaign.
Although he faltered in the last match, scoring just 8 runs off 9 balls, his overall form remains a major threat for opposition bowlers. When in rhythm, Pooran can decimate any bowling attack with his aggressive stroke play and ability to find boundaries with ease.
