Imran Tahir finally got a chance to be a part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) playing XI in the match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side. And, the 42-year-old was observing a fast, official statement came from their team officials.
Tahir scalped 2 wickets in the 4 overs that he bowled and gave away runs at an economy rate of 4 runs per over. And now, there is another side to the Imran Tahir story as well, beyond the field.
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have now revealed on their official Twitter handle that Imran Tahir has been fasting on duty with a lot of dedication. They also stated that they had no words to express their love for Tahir.

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) also stopped the winning streak of the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side on 25th April 2021. Chennai side crushed the Bangalore outfit by a margin of 69 runs to occupy the top position in the IPL points table.
Ravindra Jadeja was the man who tilted the match in favor of the Chennai side. Not only did Jadeja score 62* at a strike rate of 221.43 with the bat, but he also picked up 3 wickets to put the brakes on the RCB side as well. And needless to say, Jadeja walked away with the Player of the Match award for his performance.
