The fourth match of the T20 series between hosts India and Australia will be played today at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. The match will start at 7 pm. The toss will take place at 6:30 pm.
India is leading 2-1 in the five-match series. If the Indian team wins this match, apart from winning the series, it will also create a world record. The Indian team will leave Pakistan behind and become the team that has won the most T20 International matches.
India has so far won 135 out of 211 T-20 International matches. He has lost 66 matches, 4 matches have been tied and 6 matches have been inconclusive. Whereas, Pakistan has won 135 out of 226 T-20 Internationals. He has lost 82 and 3 matches have been tied. Pakistan's 6 matches have been inconclusive. With another win, the Indian team will overtake Pakistan.
Suryakumar Yadav is just 21 runs away from completing 2000 T20 International runs. He will be the fourth Indian to do so.
India defeated visiting team Australia by two wickets in the first match played in Visakhapatnam on 23 November and by 44 runs in the second match on 26 November. In the third match, Team India had to face defeat by 5 wickets. A total of 10 series have been played so far in T-20 format between host India and Kangaroo team. India has won five of these and Australia has won two.
Indian opener Rituraj Gaikwad has scored the most runs for India in this series. In the first three matches of the series, he has scored a century in one and a half-century in one. Whereas Suryakumar Yadav, who is captaining Team India in the absence of regular captain Rohit Sharma, is second in terms of scoring the most runs. He has scored 138 runs in three matches. This year, Surya is also on top in terms of scoring the most runs for the team. Ravi Bishnoi's performance in bowling has been excellent.
