ODI World Cup 2023, The Indian team for the upcoming ODI World Cup has been announced. The 15-member team India has mostly the same stars who are playing in the Asia Cup. Maximum four players of Mumbai Indians have been selected in Team India for the World Cup. Apart from captain Rohit himself, these include Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Ishan Kishan. At the same time, three players were selected from Gujarat Titans. Apart from vice-captain Hardik, the names of Shubman Gill and Mohammed Shami are included in these. Only one or two players were selected from the remaining teams. Two players from two-time IPL champion Kolkata Knight Riders were selected in Team India. These include franchise captains Shreyas Iyer and Shardul Thakur.
Two players of Royal Challengers Bangalore got a place in Team India. Apart from veteran batsman Virat Kohli, fast bowler Mohammad Siraj is included in these. Not a single player was selected from the three IPL franchises, namely Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, and Rajasthan Royals.
