ODI World Cup 2023, The Indian team for the upcoming ODI World Cup has been announced. The 15-member team India has mostly the same stars who are playing in the Asia Cup. The team that went for the Asia Cup had 18 players. Out of this, Sanju Samson, famous Krishna and Tilak Verma were not selected in the World Cup team. Most players of Mumbai Indians in the team

Maximum four players of Mumbai Indians have been selected in Team India for the World Cup. Apart from captain Rohit himself, these include Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Ishan Kishan. At the same time, three players were selected from Gujarat Titans. Apart from vice-captain Hardik, the names of Shubman Gill and Mohammed Shami are included in these. Only one or two players were selected from the remaining teams. Two players from two-time IPL champion Kolkata Knight Riders were selected in Team India. These include franchise captains Shreyas Iyer and Shardul Thakur.

Two players of Royal Challengers Bangalore got a place in Team India. Apart from veteran batsman Virat Kohli, fast bowler Mohammad Siraj is included in these. Two players of Delhi Capitals have also got a place. Apart from all-rounder Akshar Patel, the name of Chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav is included.

Only one player each from CSK and Lucknow

Only one player from the Chennai Super Kings team, which became champion in IPL 2023, has been selected in Team India. Experienced all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was selected. Only one player from Lucknow Super Giants, KL Rahul, was selected in Team India.No player selected from three IPL franchises

Not a single player was selected from the three IPL franchises, namely Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, and Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan captain Samson is definitely included as a backup in the Asia Cup, but he was not selected for the World Cup. At the same time, Prasidh Krishna of Rajasthan is also in the Asia Cup team but was not selected in the World Cup.
