The Cricket World Cup begins on 5 October, when England takes on New Zealand in Ahmedabad's 134,000-seater stadium, and the nations are working hard to prepare.
During the main tournament, each team will face each other once in a round-robin group format, but some will get the opportunity to observe the opponent in several warm-up matches.
The teams will be announced on September 28, thus the warm-up games allow captains and coaches to settle their starting lineups, work out matchups, and get a feel for the conditions in India.

All ten World Cup teams (India, England, Australia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Netherlands, and South Africa) will play two warm-upmatches before the event.
The matches will be 50-over contests, although they will not have official one-day international (ODI) status because teams will be permitted to utilise all 15 members of their squads.
