BCCI said in its statement, "Any reputed organizations can apply till January 21 to buy their team in this women's IPL. BCCI has kept the price of tender (ITT) at Rs 5 lakh. Apart from this amount, the buyer will have to pay GST separately. This amount will not be refundable.

The statement further said, “Any party desirous of submitting a bid is required to purchase ITT. However, only those fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed in the ITT and subject to other terms and conditions prescribed therein will be eligible to bid.
It is clarified that the mere purchase of this ITT does not entitle a person to bid. The BCCI also said that it reserves the right to cancel or modify the bidding process at any stage at its sole discretion. However, it was not informed about how many teams would be bidding.
