India now are among the top-five countries in the Asian Games 2023 medals tally after winning their second gold medal. The Indian women's cricket team recorded its name in the history books by winning the country's first gold medal in the sport at the Asian Games.Previously, India's 10m men's air rifle team won the country's first gold medal at the Asian Games 2023. Those two wins have been the highlight of India's show at the Asian Games 2023 on Monday. Shooters and rowers added to the tally too with bronze medal wins at the Asian Games 2023. So far, India have won 11 medals (2 gold, three silver and six bronze medals).

In the 50-meter backstroke final, Srihari Nataraj does not place among the top three. His time is 25.39, placing him sixth.
Likith Selvaraj is training for the Men's 100m Breaststroke Finals! It would be intriguing to see whether he can bring a medal home for India. However, SP Likith fails to get onto the podium with a disappointing seventh among eight competitors.
