Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 has been introduced in 4 unique color options. These include stencil white, plasma blue, drill green and sheetmetal grey. The motorcycle will use an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear setup and will have alloy wheels shod with tubeless tires from the factory. Royal Enfield will also sell a diamond-cut variant of the alloy wheels as an official accessory.
Suspension duties on the motorcycle will be handled by 43 mm large multi-piston Showa forks at the front and twin tube 5-step shock absorbers at the rear.
The seat height of the Shotgun 650 is 795 mm and the wheelbase is 1,465 mm. Royal Enfield is using a 320 mm disc at the front and a 300 mm disc at the rear. There will be dual-channel ABS on offer.
The manufacturer has also confirmed that the Shotgun 650 will come with an LED headlamp, digi-analogue instrument cluster, tripper navigation, USB charging port and Royal Enfield Wingman support. Royal Enfield will also sell 31 genuine motorcycle accessories for this, which customers can choose as per their utility.
Powering the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 will be the same engine that powers other 650 cc motorcycles. It is a 648 cc parallel-twin, air-oil cooled engine, which produces 47 bhp and 52 Nm compared to other 650 cc motorcycles.
It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. Hopefully Royal Enfield can re-tune the engine on the Shotgun 650 for its weight and specifications.
