Luxury vehicle manufacturer Mini has launched two new cars in the Indian market - Mini Cooper S and Countryman Electric. One of these cars has been launched as ICE and the other as electric version. Cooper S and Countryman electric cars have been launched in the Indian market by the automaker Mini. Both these cars will be offered in India as CBU and their delivery will also start from September 2024.
The company has launched Mini Cooper S in IC version. This is the fifth generation of this car and it has many features like 17 inch wheels, panoramic glass roof, 240 mm digital OLED touchscreen, navigation system with 2D map, Apple Car Play, Android Auto, digital key, park distance control, rear view camera, parking assistant, wireless charging, auto AC, front airbag, brake assist, crash sensor, ABS, DSC, DTC, ELDC, cornering brake control, Harman Kardon sound system, LED lights, head-up display, comfort access system.
Mini has provided a 2-litre engine in the Cooper S. This gives it 204 horsepower and 300 Newton meter torque. This car can be driven from 0-100 kmph in just 6.6 seconds.
Mini has launched Countryman as an electric car. It has features like 17 inch alloy wheels, panoramic glass roof, braking system with cruise control, front armrest, Apple Car Play, Android Auto, digital key, electric seat adjustment, navigation system with 2D map, 240 mm digital OLED touchscreen, park distance control, rear view camera, parking assist, wireless charging tray, auto AC, black roof rail, TPMS, pedestrian protection, front airbags, brake assist, crash sensor, ABS, dynamic stability control, cornering brake control.
Mini has provided a single electric motor in the Countryman Electric. Which gives it 204 horsepower and 250 Newton meter torque. It can be driven from 0-100 kmph in just 8.6 seconds. The car has a battery of 66.45 kWh capacity. Which can be driven for 462 to 566 km after full charge. It can be charged in six hours and 15 minutes with an AC charger of 11 kW capacity and it takes only eight minutes to charge from 0-100 percent with a DC charger of 130 kW.
Mini has kept the ex-showroom price of Cooper S at Rs 44.90 lakh (Mini Copper S Price). The ex-showroom price of Countryman Electric is Rs 54.90 lakh (Countryman E price). The company has also offered upgrade options in both the cars.
