In a night brimming with drama, laughter, and vintage cricketing flair, Virat Kohli stole the spotlight yet again, but not just with the bat. During the IPL 2025 showdown between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on April 27, Kohli cheekily mimicked KL Rahul’s viral 'my home' celebration, sending fans into a frenzy.

Anticipation had been building since RCB’s last encounter with Delhi when KL Rahul’s 'my home' celebration at Chinnaswamy Stadium had gone viral. Fast forward to their clash in Delhi, and Kohli made sure to deliver a light-hearted, playful jab.

As RCB sealed a thrilling six-wicket victory, Kohli broke into a mock 'my home' gesture, much to Rahul’s amusement. In a fitting reply, Rahul pointed towards the stand named after Kohli at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, creating a full-circle moment that cricket fans could not stop buzzing about.

Importantly, there was no bad blood, just two cricketing superstars sharing a hearty laugh after a fierce contest. This display of sportsmanship once again reminded everyone why IPL is not just about rivalries but also about camaraderie.

While the banter lit up social media, the match itself saw a gritty performance from Kohli. Chasing a target of 163, RCB lost early wickets, but Kohli’s composed 51 off 47 balls anchored the innings. Partnering with Krunal Pandya, who smashed a blistering 73 off 47 deliveries, Kohli ensured RCB stormed to their record sixth consecutive away win, a franchise-best streak for the 2025 season.

KL Rahul, meanwhile, could not replicate his earlier heroics, scoring a cautious 41 off 39 balls before falling to mounting pressure. Despite a few tense moments between the two captains during the match, mutual respect prevailed once the final ball was bowled.

Adding another feather to his cap, Virat Kohli reclaimed the Orange Cap for the most runs in IPL 2025. Earlier in the day, the cap had briefly switched hands between Gujarat Titans' Sai Sudharsan and Mumbai Indians’ Suryakumar Yadav during the MI vs LSG clash.

But Kohli’s crucial innings against DC ensured it returned to arguably its most familiar owner, a testament to his enduring dominance even after nearly two decades at the top.

With this crucial win, RCB not only bagged vital points but also temporarily climbed to the top of the IPL 2025 standings. Their away form has been nothing short of sensational, setting them up as genuine title contenders heading into the business end of the tournament.
