West Indies announces squad for T20 World Cup 2026, stormy all-rounder and former captain returns

Cricket West Indies has announced its squad for the 2026 T20 World Cup, to be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka next month. The 15-member squad includes explosive all-rounder Jason Holder. Two-time champions West Indies will seek a third title in the tournament, which will be played from February 7th to March 8th. In addition to Holder, former captain and explosive batsman Rovman Powell has also returned to the team. Romario Shepherd has also been recalled, significantly strengthening the team's batting attack. The team is led by Shai Hope.
