Riding on a 75-run knock from his debut ODI batsman, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 128 runs in the rain-interrupted second ODI in Mirpur on Friday. With this, Pakistan leveled the three-match ODI series 1-1. Batting first, Pakistan scored 274 runs. Rain broke during Bangladesh's innings, halting the match for a while. After the rain stopped, the overs were reduced. Bangladesh was set a target of 243 runs in 32 overs.

Sahibzada Farhan and Maz Sadaqat gave the team a solid start, adding 103 runs for the first wicket.
