Thanks to blistering half-centuries from Jacob Bethell (55) and Harry Brook (53), the England cricket team began the World Cup with a win. England defeated Nepal by 4 runs in the fifth match of the tournament played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Batting first, England scored 184 runs, while Nepal managed only 180.
