England Women batted superbly in the first T20I against Sri Lanka. Alice Capsey was the top scorer with 51 runs off 27 deliveries. England Women ended up with 186 runs on the board in 17 overs. During the chase, Sri Lanka scored 55 runs in 6 overs but lost 3 wickets in the process before rain interrupted the match. In the end, England Women won the match by 12 runs with the DLS method.
