Robin Bist started his competitive career with a century for Delhi Under-14s and continued to play for the country’s capital till 2005-06, but later switched to Rajasthan for better scope. He started his campaign in Rajasthan against a Pakistan XI side ahead of the 2006 Champions Trophy.
He made his first-class debut in the 2007-08 Ranji Trophy season. Bist was signed by the Delhi Daredevils in 2011 for IPL 4.
