A right-hand batsman, Kirk Edwards made his first-class debut for Barbados in 2006. He has also represented West Indies A and the Under-19 team. Born in a cricketing family, Edwards is a solid middle-order batsman who's temperament is sound enough for the longest format of the game, Test cricket.
After a successful domestic campaign, Edwards made his ODI debut in the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup against India, wherein he was called as the replacement for injured Carlton Baugh.
