IPL 2026: The BCCI has released the complete schedule for the 19th season of the Indian Premier League. The first match will be played on March 28, while the league stage will conclude on May 24. In the very first match of this season, the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bangalore, will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Under the captaincy of Rajat Patidar, the team will take the field once again with the intention of making history. RCB possesses a strong squad capable of winning a second consecutive title.

RCB's Two Home Grounds:

In IPL 2026, the Royal Challengers Bangalore team will play its home matches at two venues, just as it has done in the past. Five of their home matches will be played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, while two matches will take place at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur. The Bengaluru team is the defending champion. If they succeed in winning the IPL 2026 title as well, they will become only the third team—after the Chennai Super Kings and the Mumbai Indians—to win the IPL trophy in two consecutive years.
