"Rahul Sir said to me, 'Sanju, we need to talk to Vaibhav; he is still just a young kid. We need to explain to him how to handle the pressure of playing.' When Rahul Sir asked him, 'Vaibhav, what is your game plan?' he replied with great innocence and confidence, 'No plan, Sir; I'll just play!'."

During the conversation, when Dravid asked Vaibhav about his strategy, both legends were left astonished by the 13-year-old boy's response. Vaibhav said, "If I face the first ball, I will hit a six off the very first delivery."
Vaibhav kept his promise and, on the very first ball of his IPL career, stepped forward to smash a towering six over long-off against an experienced bowler like Shardul Thakur. Laughing, Sanju remarked, "It felt as though he was playing a video game out there on the field."
