Sachin Tendulkar is the best technically sound player in the history of the game, according to former Indian player and current pundit Ravi Shastri, who made this designation before the ICC World Cup 2023 semi-finals.
On a Club Prairie Fire podcast with Shastri, Adam Gilchrist, and Michael Vaughan, the 60-year-old described Sachin as the greatest technically talented player the game has ever seen.
In response to the podcast footage, former England captain Michael Vaughan replied on Twitter, expressing his agreement with Shastri.
Remarkably, Chris Lynn approved of the tweet as well. Interestingly, Vaughan is in India reporting on the 2023 ICC World Cup.
Vaughan has agreed with Shastri's remarks before. Michael has already said that the Indian bowling lineup now in play is the strongest bowling assault in ODI history.
On November 15, India will play New Zealand in the first semi-final.
