Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This will be the first time since the 2025 Asia Cup that the two teams will face each other in a T20 World Cup.
India has been drawn in the same group as Pakistan, the USA, the Netherlands, and Namibia. India will begin its tournament campaign with a match against the USA, which will be played on February 7 in Mumbai. Team India will then face Namibia in Delhi on February 12. Team India's next match in the group stage will be against Pakistan, and their final group match will be against the Netherlands on February 18 in Ahmedabad. Three matches will be played on the same day during the group stage of the tournament.

Team India is the defending champion. India defeated South Africa in the final of the 2024 T20 World Cup in Barbados.
