According to the latest reports, Shreyas Iyer is likely to be part of the Mumbai team for the Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Himachal Pradesh on January 6, 2026.

  • Return to Play (RTP): An official has confirmed that Iyer passed his first 'Return to Play' test on January 2. The match on January 6 will be his second test, after which a final decision will be taken on his full fitness.
  • Alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal: In the Mumbai team, he will be joined by young star Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is already a part of the tournament.
