Rashid Khan created history by creating a world record in the T20 World Cup 2026. Afghanistan's Rashid has become the first bowler to take 700 wickets in T20 cricket. The 28th league match of the T20 World Cup was played between Afghanistan and UAE on Monday (16 February). In the match, Rashid crossed the 700 wicket mark by taking the wicket of UAE's Mohammad Arfan.
Before this match, Rashid had taken 699 wickets in T20 cricket. Then in the match against UAE, Rashid achieved a big success by dismissing Arfan in the 16th over.
