Rain in Canberra has broken the hearts of cricket fans. The first T20 match between India and Australia has been cancelled. Due to rain, only 58 balls could be played. During this period, Team India scored 97 runs for the loss of one wicket. Captain Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill were raining fours and sixes, but in the 10th over, a storm arose and heavy rain began. After waiting for the rain to stop for about an hour and a half, the match was declared abandoned.

The match could not be resumed. When the rain began, captain Suryakumar Yadav was batting on 39 off 24 balls, having hit three fours and two sixes. Shubman Gill was batting on 37 off 20 balls, having hit four fours and a six. India had reached 97 for one in just 9.4 overs.

Australian captain Mitchell Marsh won the toss and decided to bat first. However, the Indian batsmen proved his decision wrong. Abhishek Sharma scored 19 runs off 14 balls, including four fours. Nathan Allen dismissed Abhishek. Suryakumar Yadav then scored 39 runs off 24 balls, and Shubman Gill made an unbeaten 37 runs off 20 balls. Gill hit four fours and a six, while Surya hit three fours and two sixes.

For Australia, Josh Hazlewood conceded 24 runs in 3 overs. Matthew Kunhemann conceded 22 runs in 2 overs, Marcus Steyn conceded 10 runs in 1 over, and Nathan Ellis conceded 25 runs in 1.4 overs. Xavier Bartlett conceded 16 runs in 2 overs.
