Mumbai Indians appoint Paras Mhambrey as bowling coach- IPL 2025

Former Indian bowling coach Paras Mhambrey, who also played two Tests and three ODIs for India in the mid-1990s, was on Wednesday (October 16) announced as the bowling coach of Mumbai Indians for the upcoming 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He will work closely with current bowling coach Lasith Malinga. The former Sri Lankan fast bowler was appointed as MI's bowling coach for IPL 2024.

MI said, 'Mumbai Indians today announced the return and appointment of Paras Mhambrey as bowling coach, who will work alongside current bowling coach Lasith Malinga as part of the coaching team led by head coach Mahela Jayawardene. Paras Mhambrey was previously part of the Mumbai Indians coaching team, leading the team to IPL 2013, Champions League T20 (2011, 2013), runner-up finish (2010) and two more playoffs in the IPL. Mhambrey's recent stint was as the bowling coach of the Indian men's cricket team, which culminated in the T20 World Cup win earlier this year.'
