Team India defeated the West Indies in the first Test match within three days at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The second and final Test match of the series will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi from October 10th to 14th. Both teams have arrived in Delhi. However, bad weather and rain have hampered practice.

After a long time, a Test match will be played in Delhi. Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium, also known as Feroz Shah Kotla, will host the second Test match between India and the West Indies on Friday, October 10th. The toss will take place at 9:00 am and the match will start at 9:30 am.

What will the Delhi pitch be like?:

Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium has both black and red soil pitches. The second Test match between India and the West Indies will be played on a black soil pitch. It will be an excellent venue for batsmen. This pitch is considered easy to score runs on. The boundaries are short and the outfield is quite fast. As a result, a lot of runs are expected in this Test match. However, after the second day, when the pitch dries up, spinners will also start getting help.

The West Indies team failed to play even 50 overs in both innings of the first Test.

It is worth noting that in the first Test match played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the West Indies team was all out for 162 runs in 44.1 overs in the first innings. In the second innings, the Caribbean team could only score 146 runs in 45.1 overs. India won this Test match by an innings and 140 runs on the third day itself. Mohammed Siraj took seven wickets in this Test match. Ravindra Jadeja took four wickets along with scoring a century.
