Indian legends Harbhajan Singh and Shikhar Dhawan have retired from international cricket. Neither player plays in the IPL. Now, these veteran players will be seen playing in the Legends Pro T20 League. Australia's Shane Watson and South Africa's Dale Steyn will also be seen showcasing their talent. The Legends Pro T20 League brings together many of cricket's biggest names.
The Legends Pro T20 League will be held in Goa from January 26 to February 4, 2026. A total of six teams will participate in the league, and a total of 90 legendary players will be seen playing in the tournament. The entire tournament will be played at a single venue, the 1919 Sports Cricket Stadium, making it a celebration for cricket fans.
Former Australian captain Michael Clarke has been appointed League Commissioner. Speaking about his new role, Clarke said he is delighted to be part of a league that brings together so many top players. "India is like the home of cricket and holds a special place for me. I am very excited to be a part of the Legends Pro T20 League in this new role. Goa is a wonderful place."
