FIR registered against Mitchell Marsh for stepping on the World Cup trophy

An FIR has been registered against Australia's brilliant all-rounder Mitchell Marsh in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. This FIR has been lodged by RTI activist Pandit Keshav. Actually, Australia had defeated India in the final of ODI World Cup 2023 and won this wonderful trophy.

After the World Cup final, a picture of Mitchell Marsh went viral on social media, in which it could be seen that he was placing both his feet on the World Cup trophy and drinking beer. This picture was of the team's hotel in Ahmedabad. Many people had strongly criticized Mitchell Marsh for this action.

RTI activist Pandit Keshav has filed a complaint against the Australian player. Not only this, he has also given a copy of this complaint to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and has also said that Mitchell Marsh should be banned from playing in India because he has insulted the World Cup.

It was also seen that many Indian fans had misbehaved with the families of the Australian team players. Many Indian fans had made bad comments and even threatened the families of Australian team players on social media.

Currently, a five-match T-20 series is being played between India and Australia

In the first T20 match played on 23 November, India defeated Australia by two wickets and took a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20 series. Talking about the match, Australia, batting first, scored 208 runs in this match by losing three wickets in 20 overs. For Australia, Josh Inglis played a brilliant inning of 110 runs in 50 balls with the help of 11 fours and 8 sixes. He hit hard against the Indian bowlers. Apart from Josh, Steve Smith played a valuable inning of 52 runs in 41 balls with the help of 8 fours.

In reply, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav batted brilliantly and scored a match-winning inning of 80 runs with the help of 9 fours and four sixes in 42 balls. Apart from Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan contributed 58 runs.
