Speaking about his experience playing with Dhoni at CSK, Bravo said, When I bowled my first over for CSK, he asked me what kind of field I wanted. I told him, but after that, he never asked me about field placements again. I realized he had complete faith in me. We even started calling each other brothers from different mothers. He gave me that respect.

Dwayne Bravo has played a total of 14 seasons in the IPL, most of them – 10 seasons – for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He started his IPL career with Mumbai Indians, playing three seasons for them before also playing one season with Gujarat Lions. Bravo played a total of 75 matches for CSK.
In these matches, Bravo scored 1004 runs for CSK at a strike rate of 137.16, including two half-centuries. He also took 140 wickets for CSK, and achieved the feat of taking three wickets in a match 13 times for the team. Besides being a player, Bravo has also served as a bowling coach for CSK.
