Ben Stokes is again suffering from a hamstring problem. This time, due to the injury, he will have to stay away from cricket for three months.

Stokes suffered a left hamstring injury during the New Zealand tour. Stokes was also suffering from the same problem in August. He will have to stay away from cricket for a few months to get treatment for this.
During the three-Test series against New Zealand, Ben Stokes suffered a hamstring injury in his left thigh in the third Test. After which he could not play in the second innings of the third Test. England lost this Test. Ben Stokes bowled too much in this Test. Due to which his old injury resurfaced.
Now England and Wales Cricket has informed that captain Ben Stokes will be away from cricket for three months for surgery of his injury. He will be operated upon at a hospital in Durham in January. After this, he will undergo a rehab process, which may take time.
Stokes also suffered a hamstring injury while playing in The Hundred in August this year, due to which he was out of the team. Ben Stokes performed all-round in two Test matches against New Zealand. His team registered a historic victory on this tour. In the second Test, New Zealand was defeated by the highest number of runs (423 runs). After winning the first two Tests, England created another history. It won a Test series in New Zealand after 16 years. After such a big success, Ben Stokes has not been selected in the team for the ODI and T20 series against India. England has to play 5 T20 and 3 ODI matches on the India tour. Along with this, he has also not been included in the English team for the Champions Trophy to be held in February-March. Stokes is an important player of the English team. As an all-rounder, he also led England to victory in the World Cup.
