Vale Park History

Vale Park is a football stadium in the Burslem area of ​​Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, and has been the home ground of Port Vale Football Club since its opening in 1950. It has a capacity of 15,695 for unseated matches, increasing to 16,800 for fixed-seat matches. It was renovated between 1989 and 1998 to become an all-seater stadium. The ground's capacity has fluctuated, peaking at 42,000 against Blackpool in 1954, although a club record 49,768 were drawn for a 1960 FA Cup fifth round match against Aston Villa.
