Loftus Road, currently known as the MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Shepherd's Bush, West London, Greater London, England. It is the home ground of Queens Park Rangers Football Club and has a capacity of 18,439. In 1981, it became the first stadium in British professional football to have an artificial pitch, specifically Omniturf. This pitch remained in use until 1988, when a natural grass pitch was reinstalled.
