Estadio Gran Canaria History
The Estadio de Gran Canaria is a football stadium in Las Palmas, in the Canary Islands of Spain. It is currently used for football matches and is the home ground of UD Las Palmas. It was opened in 2003 as a multi-purpose stadium, replacing the old Estadio Insular. In July 2024, it was confirmed that the stadium would host matches for the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
