Orlando Magic will lock horns against Miami Heat in NBA 2021-22 on Saturday, 18 December 2021 at 05:30 AM IST
Orlando has performed as expected and the current record is not much of a surprise. Still, the frontline of Franz Wagner, Wendell Carter Jr., and Mo Bamba looks highly promising while PG Cole Anthony has shown he can become an all-around scorer.
Orlando’s season is more about the development of the youth and for me, the team has a more solid foundational core than teams like Pistons and Rockets.
Let us see if the management sticks to the development of the current core or look in a different direction next season.
With Kyle Lowry and Duncan Robinson in the backcourt, PJ Tucker at Forward, and a pesky Center in Dewayne Dedmon, the Heat’s defense has been phenomenal recently.
The team is well-adept at reading the opponent’s movements and once you hit some strides on offense, wins follow.
The Heat has seen Kyle Lowry trying to get to 20 points, Duncan Robinson has tried to do the same while other actors off the bench such as Gabe Vincent have also stepped up the game.
There is no way Heat could have done as well as they have had without Butler and Adebayo if the team had not acquired Lowry in the offseason. Trust me on that…
