After a good 3 days rest, the two sides Bengal Warriors and Tamil Thalaivas will be back in action.
The 51st match of Pro Kabaddi 2022 will feature defending champions Bengal Warriors and the Surjeet Singh-led Tamil Thalaivas. The Thalaivas will start as the favorites to win this contest.Tamil Thalaivas are playing as a unit with both raiders and defenders contributing to the cause.They have lost just 1 game thus far and look like a promising side.
Defending champions Bengal Warriors have seen their defence crack, which has left Maninder to do bulk of the scoring.
If the team can lift themselves up and provide Maninder the support, they could pose a big threat to the Thalaivas. All in all, an exciting game seems to be on the cards.
Maninder Singh:Maninder Singh is the top raider in the Bengal Warriors side and was one of the major reasons behind them lifting the coveted Season 7 trophy. The tall and strong raider ended last season strongly and has started this one well, registering 99 raid points in 8 games, including 13 in the last game. He has been superb in the last few games and will be key.
Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh:Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh is the x-factor in the Bengal Warriors side. He can raid, he can tackle and is just the kind of player every coach would want. The Iranian was the top scorer for the side in the opening game and has put in a fine show since, though he has had a couple of off games. He has 36 raid points and 13 tackle points to his name. He would be eager to put in another solid show.
Abozar Mohajermighani:A strong defense is a key to putting pressure on the opposition and Abozar has added steel to the sides defence. The right corner defender is very neat with his tackles and registered 14 tackle points thus far. He will have a big role to play tonight
Manjeet: Manjeet had a sensational last season and has now emerged as the lead raider for the Tamil Thalaivas outfit. The youngster has had a bright start with 55 raid points to his name, including 10 in the last game. He doesnt shy away from putting in a tackle either and has 4 tackle points to his name.
Surjeet Singh: Surjeet Singh is the leader in the Thalaivas unit. The right-cover defender is a solid defender and has made his experience count. He has claimed 30 tackle points in the 8 games thus far, including 8 in the last game, and is the topping the charts. Thalaivas would need another solid performance from their experienced pro.
Sagar: Sagar is a solid defender and came into the limelight in the last season. The right-corner defender has been aggressive in putting up tackles and has taken his tally to 28 tackle points,including 7 in the last. He has been terrific in recent games and would hope he can continue therun.
Manjeet: Manjeet has been in fine form and will be eyeing a big haul against a weak Bengal Warriors defence. He can also pull off a tackle or two and will be a key figure in this game.
Maninder Singh:Maninder is a quality raider and has kept his form this season as well. He has been in superb form in the last few games and could be in for another big tally.
