India has won the third match of the five-Test series against England. They defeated the visiting team by 434 runs in Rajkot. This is India's biggest win by margin of runs in Test history. Earlier in 2021, it had defeated New Zealand by 372 runs at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. With this big win, Team India got a big advantage in the points table of the World Test Championship.

After winning the third Test against England, India has 50 points from seven matches. India's marks percentage has reached 59.52. It left behind the Australian team which scored 55 percent marks. India has now reached second position in the points table.
