WPL 2026 Schedule Released: Full Match List, Dates and Venues

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the full schedule for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026. The tournament will run from January 9 to February 5, making it a 28-day cricket event packed with action.

For the first time, the WPL final will be held on a weekday, Thursday, February 5, instead of the usual weekend. This season will also feature two double-header days on Saturdays, where early matches will be followed by evening games. Most other matches will be played in the evening.

The tournament will be hosted at two venues:

  1. DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai
  2. Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara

The first 11 matches, including the double-headers, will take place in Navi Mumbai. The remaining 11 matches, including the eliminator and final, will be played in Vadodara.

This year, the WPL will be held in January-February instead of February-March to avoid clashes with international cricket.

After the WPL ends, the Indian women’s cricket team will tour Australia from February 15 to March 9, playing 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs, and a Test match.

The WPL 2026 will start with a big opening match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, promising an exciting start for fans.
