There will be a meeting today (Friday) between the International Cricket Council and the local committee of New York regarding this and a decision can be taken on this.
According to the report, a temporary stadium is being prepared to host the World Cup on the outskirts of New York. Which will have a seating capacity of 34 thousand people.The T20 World Cup will be held in West Indies and America from June 4 to June 30 this year.
Three locations in the US have been selected. The main reason for organizing the India-Pak match in New York is a recent survey. According to the survey, more than 7 lakh Indians and about one lakh people of Pakistani origin live here. In such a situation, the organizers hope that the India-Pak match will get a good response.
With Uganda's victory, all the 20 teams participating in the T20 World Cup have been decided. For this, Nepal and Oman have qualified from the Asian region, while Uganda and Namibia from Africa have got the World Cup ticket. West Indies and America qualified due to being hosts, while England, Pakistan, New Zealand, India, Australia, South Africa, Netherlands and Sri Lanka had secured their places by finishing in the top-8 in the last T20 World Cup in 2022. Afghanistan and Bangladesh have qualified from the ranking of 14 November 2022.

20 teams will be divided into 4 groups of 5 teams each. There will be 40 matches in the group stage. The final of the tournament will be played between the winning teams of the semi-finals on 30 June 2024. A total of 55 matches will be played in the tournament within 27 days, including 2 semi-finals, one final and 52 group stage matches.
The last T20 World Cup played in 2021 and 2022 had 16 teams each. 4 out of 8 teams played qualifiers and became a part of the Super-12 stage. There were 45-45 matches in both the tournaments. The tournament, which started in 2007, will now include 20 teams for the first time and there will be more than 50 matches in the tournament for the first time. India won the first title in 2007, in 2022 the England team became the champion for the last time.
