The Indian cricket team, which won the T20 World Cup 2024 title, is finally returning to India today. Rohit Sharma and Brigade, won the T20 World Cup title after 17 years by defeating South Africa in the title match on June 29. Captain Rohit Sharma and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah both tweeted from their respective handles and urged fans to join the historic event. The last time such a parade took place was when MS Dhoni led India to their first T20 World Cup title in 2007. With a win against arch-rivals Pakistan in the final in 2007, it took them 24 years to win another ICC trophy. The whole country welcomed him.
