Rohit Sharma and Brigade, won the T20 World Cup title after 17 years by defeating South Africa in the title match on June 29. Captain Rohit Sharma and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah both tweeted from their respective handles and urged fans to join the historic event. The last time such a parade took place was when MS Dhoni led India to their first T20 World Cup title in 2007. With a win against arch-rivals Pakistan in the final in 2007, it took them 24 years to win another ICC trophy. The whole country welcomed him. Team India victory parade Schedule

  • The flight will land in Delhi at 6 am on Thursday.
  • At around 9.30 am, the Indian players will leave for the PM House.
  • Team India will meet PM Narendra Modi at 11 am.
  • After meeting PM Modi, the players will take a chartered flight to Mumbai.
  • After landing in Mumbai, all the players will reach the Wankhede Stadium in an open bus.
  • Vijay Parade will be organized from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium from 5:00 pm.
  • At Wankhede, Rohit Sharma will hand over the trophy to BCCI Secretary Jay Shah.
