The ICC (International Cricket Council) has announced the revised schedule for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024. The World Cup was moved out of Bangladesh following the recent political upheaval in Bangladesh, after which the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was chosen as the new host.
The 23 matches of the tournament will be held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai and the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah. Dubai will host the first semi-final on October 17 and the second semi-final on October 18. There is a reserve day for both the semi-finals and the final.

A total of 10 teams will participate in the Women's T20 World Cup. They have been divided into two groups. Group A includes Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Group B includes South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh and Scotland. Before the tournament, 10 practice matches will be played from September 28 to October 1.

India and Pakistan have been placed in the same group. Both teams are part of Group A. On October 6, the Indian team will face its arch-rival Pakistan in Dubai. This match will be played from 2 pm. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not yet announced the team for the upcoming tournament. At the same time, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has handed over the command of the team to Fatima Sana.
