1. India vs West Indies – 510 million
India defeated the West Indies in the virtual quarter-final in Kolkata to secure a place in the semi-finals with a historic run chase. Winning a crucial toss, India restricted the West Indies to less than 200 runs despite strong batting performances from Jason Holder and Rovman Powell. Sanju Samson played the best innings of his life, scoring an unbeaten 97 to rescue India from trouble and lead the team to victory. This was India's eighth T20 World Cup win over Pakistan (out of nine matches).

The match between India and Zimbabwe was a do-or-die one, as the losing team would be eliminated from the tournament. After a crushing defeat against South Africa, India made a remarkable comeback and easily defeated Zimbabwe. Abhishek Sharma finally found form with a half-century, and Tilak Verma made a useful contribution down the order. Arshdeep Singh took three wickets. Zimbabwe eventually fell 72 runs short of India's mammoth target of 256/4.
4. India vs South Africa – 363 million
The Proteas avenged their defeat in a rematch of the 2024 final. At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, South Africa bounced back from an early defeat thanks to a brilliant innings from David Miller and excellent support from Dewald Brevis. Chasing a target of 188, the Indian batsmen once again found it difficult as Marco Jansen bowled brilliantly, taking four wickets. Keshav Maharaj also took three wickets to hand India their first defeat in an ICC tournament after 18 matches.
5. India vs America – 363 million
India began their title defense against the United States at the Wankhede Stadium.
