1. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is India's leading run-scorer in Asia Cup history. The former Indian captain has scored 1,042 runs in just 19 innings. Kohli played his first Asia Cup match in 2010 and has played just 11 ODI Asia Cup matches for India so far. In these matches, the modern legend has scored 613 runs at an average of 61.30, including one half-century and three brilliant centuries.

Talking about the T20 format of the Asia Cup, the Delhi-born batsman has scored 429 runs in nine innings at an impressive average of 85.80. Kohli was the top scorer for India in the 2012 and 2016 Asia Cups.

2. Rohit Sharma

The Indian captain has scored over 1,000 international runs in Asia Cup history. Rohit has scored 745 runs in 21 ODI Asia Cup innings at an average of 46.56, including six half-centuries and a century.

In T20 Asia Cup matches, Rohit has scored 271 runs at an average of 30.11, including three half-centuries. Overall, the Mumbai batsman has scored 1,016 runs in the Asia Cup.

3. Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar is the first player to play in eight different editions of the Asia Cup. Tendulkar played all the Asia Cup matches in the 50-over format and is India's leading run-scorer as far as the ODI Asia Cup is concerned. In 21 innings, the 'Little Master' scored 971 runs at an average of 51.10. He also scored seven half-centuries and two centuries in the tournament, including his historic 100th international century in 2012.

4. MS Dhoni

One of India's most successful captains, MS Dhoni has scored 690 runs in the Asia Cup. Most of his runs in the tournament came in the 50-over format. In 16 ODI innings in the Asia Cup, Dhoni scored 648 runs at an average of 64.80, including three half-centuries and a century.

He also scored 42 runs in Asia Cup 2016, played in the T20 format. He led India to a glorious victory in Asia Cup 2010, which was India's first win in the tournament after a long wait of 15 years.

5. Shikhar Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan has performed well for India in ICC tournaments, especially the Asia Cup. He played his first Asia Cup match in 2014 and has played 13 matches so far, nine of which are in the 50-over format. He played only one T20 match in 2016, where he scored 79 runs in four innings. In his remaining nine innings in the 50-over format, Dhawan scored 534 runs at an average of 59.33, taking his total runs in the Asia Cup to 613.
