Team India Victory Parade: Hello! Welcome to the live blog. The Indian team reached Delhi from Barbados after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 title. Due to bad weather, the BCCI had arranged a special flight for the return of the Indian players, in which apart from the Indian players, their support staff and media persons were also on board.
After meeting PM Modi, Team India has reached Delhi airport. The world champion team will leave for Mumbai in some time.

A video of Team India's meeting with PM Modi has surfaced. In this, the world champion team is seen celebrating the victory with the Prime Minister. During this, the PM also posed with the World Cup trophy along with the Indian players.

Mumbai Cricket Association secretary Ajinkya Naik gave information on the preparations for Team India's Vijay Yatra in Mumbai. He said, "MCA has made preparations for the public. Under the guidance of Mumbai Police and BCCI, we are going to give free entry to the public on first come first serve basis... We had a meeting with Mumbai Police yesterday. MCA has kept maximum police force. This is a proud moment for MCA and the country and we are very excited to welcome the Indian team today."

On Team India's arrival in Delhi after winning the T20 World Cup, BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla said, "Everyone is happy because winning the ICC T20 World Cup after defeating South Africa and many countries is a great achievement. I would like to give credit to all the players, team management and BCCI officials... They arrived here today in a private chartered flight of Air India and now they will leave for Mumbai and there will be a welcome ceremony there."
