Team India has made history in the Asia Cup T20 2025. In their last Super-4 match against Sri Lanka in Dubai, the Indian team scored over 200 runs for the first time in this tournament. This big achievement comes just before the final match against Pakistan on Sunday.

India’s First 200+ Score in Asia Cup 2025

Batting first, India made 202 runs for 5 wickets, becoming the only team in this edition to cross the 200-run mark. This strong batting performance gave India great confidence before the final.

This total of 202/5 is now the second-highest score ever in Asia Cup T20 history. Interestingly, the top score also belongs to India — 212/2 against Afghanistan in 2022.

Abhishek Shines Again

The star of the match was Abhishek, who played a quick innings of 61 runs. This was his third fifty in a row, after scoring 74 and 75 in the last two matches. It was also his fifth half-century in T20 internationals. He has been in great form, scoring more than 10 runs in each of his last 13 innings.

Other batters also supported well — Tilak Varma remained not out at 49, and Sanju Samson scored 39 runs.
