On September 29, Pakistan and New Zealand will compete in an exhibition match at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in advance of the ODI World Cup of 2023. The 10 participating nations will play a few exhibition matches before to the ODI World Cup, which begins on October 5.

Due to inadequate security, no spectators would be permitted to see the warm-up game between Pakistan and New Zealand. Hyderabad Police won't be able to provide proper protection due to the festival season.

"The game will be played without spectators, and those who have booked their tickets, their money will be refunded," a BCCI official said.

The BCCI will reportedly speak with Bookmyshow, the official World Cup ticketing partner, to discuss refunding individuals who have already purchased tickets for the exhibition match between Pakistan and New Zealand.

The city police had asked the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) to postpone the game since it will fall on the same day as the festivals Ganesh Visarjan and Milan-Un-Nabi, which culminate on September 28. Since the timetable had already been changed, the organisers were unable to accommodate the request, thus it was decided that spectators would not be allowed to attend the game.
