In the match being played between India and Pakistan, everyone's eyes are on Indian team's fast bowler Mohammed Shami. Mohammed Shami came to bowl the first over for India against Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium. The first over of this match lasted so long that an unwanted record was registered in Shami's name. 34-year-old Shami bowled 11 balls for the first over of Pakistan's innings, out of which 5 balls were wide. In this way, he registered an unwanted record in his name and also left fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah behind in one matter.
This over of Indian team's fast bowler Mohammad Shami was the longest over of India in the Champions Trophy, while it was the second longest over of the entire tournament. Shami bowled 11 balls to complete this over and thus surpassed the 9-ball over he bowled against Pakistan in the 2017 Champions Trophy final.
